The latest EP from GULLFAKS showcases a joint effort with talented vocalist Chris Buggy. In a sign of the times, the duo connected online in mid 2020 (via /r/bedroombands) and began a cross-Atlantic collaboration on the tracks that would become the GULLFAKS+Buggy EP. Buggy’s harmonies and lyrics -- simultaneously intimate, complex, and driving -- are evocative of classic English ‘80s new wave, and served a perfect match for the synth- and guitar-driven hooks, tight production, and pop-influenced structures presented by GULLFAKS.

Propelled both by circumstance and a strong DIY ethos, these self-produced tracks were recorded, mixed, and mastered in quarantine -- offering listeners a glimpse into the creative expression that is made possible when like-minded artists connect on new platforms.
